The Institute of Educational Techniques, ITE Network, is a Network of Educational Centers founded in 2015 by the prestigious educator Mariano del Castillo as a non-profit association that responds to the needs of the Internationalization of the education, training, youth and sport, giving them the opportunity to reverse dynamics and approaches, with the aim of a smarter and more sustainable future global educational cooperation. ITE is committed to supporting high-impact organizations seeking to transform education in Spain, the EU and around the world. Learning, teaching, research, transfer and innovation have been a key factor in improving academic programs. The demand for professional services to raise funds for European projects in Spain offers us an opportunity for immersion, exchange of knowledge, and rapprochement with European citizens through the European educational community. ITE Network also acts as an advisor for schools to develop international strategy, business plans and projects to improve the internationalization of the education and training sector. Additionally, ITE organizes tailored training seminars for schools focusing on the different EU grants and programs for them to apply for. ITE Network partners are made up of institutions of all levels and types, including schools, vocational training and lifelong learning centers, higher education institutions, public, private, semi-private organizations focused on supporting students with in-school services and after school, and education. Reform organizations focused on human capital and promotion. The great challenge of the ITE Network is to contribute to educational policies designed as an “ITE expert group” by establishing a set of innovative and transferable knowledge for educational centers throughout the educational system of the EU partner countries.

Selina Martín Cano (President)
She has a degree in Community Law from the San Pablo CEU University, she has 15 years of experience in management and direction of international educational projects at CECE-Spanish Confederation of Teaching Centers. She completed an internship in 2003 at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR. Operations Department, Desk II, Latin America, and in Brussels at the Council of the European Union, General Secretariat-Press Service. Master in Immigration, Refugees and Intercommunity Relations. Autonomous University of Madrid. University Expert in Promotion and Management of NGOs from the University Institute of Development and Cooperation (IUDC). Complutense University of Madrid. During the last decade of my professional career I have specialized in: study, identification of opportunities and monitoring of the different European calls, in the framework of education: Erasmus+, Daphne, Sector Skill Alliances, Horizon 2020, etc. Comprehensive management, coordination and financial justification of educational projects approved by different European organizations. Internationalization of educational centers. She speaks English, French and Spanish.

Selina Martín Cano

Luis Limaza (Vice president)
Trained as a Psychologist at the University of Chile and Graduated in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid.He also has a Master’s degree in Contemporary International Migrations from the Pontifical University of Comillas and has completed complete Doctorate studies in Education at the Complutense University of Madrid and also a Doctorate in Social Psychology at the same university. He has been Manager of International Relations for Latin America at ADALID SC, based in Madrid, and has been Vice Chancellor of Postgraduate and Institutional Relations at the University of Aconcagua in Chile. During his professional career he has also been Chief of Staff of the Center for Pedagogical Improvement and Research (CPEIP), a technical advisory body of the Chilean Ministry of Education. He has also worked as Principal Technology Advisor for the CECE-Spanish Confederation of Teaching Centers at the level of Spain and Europe. He was Professor of the Master of ICT applied to Education at the Madrid Postgraduate University Institute of the Santillana Formación Group and the Universities of Alicante, Barcelona and Carlos III of Madrid. He speaks english and spanish.

Luis Limaza

GONZALO SANTAMARIA: He is an Economist, 25 years’ experience in European project management and evaluation processes.  He is Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Management by Universidad Complutense of Madrid (1991-1997) and currently enrolled in the Ph.D. Economic Analysis Programme in UNED University. 
 
In 1997, after university studies, he moved to Italy to work for UETP ALMA MATER – Università di Bologna, an Industrial Liaison Office. He started to manage E.U supported projects related to promoting University-Industry links, technology transfer and the relations with Latin America. 
 
From 1999 until 2018 he has been working in the European Department of CECE Confederación Española de Centros de Enseñanza. (Spanish Confederation of Education Centres), coordinating international educational EU funded projects, becoming European Department Managing Director in 2003.
 
In 2002, he co-founded a Press & PR Agency,  5cero2, which supplies communications and marketing solutions for the elaboration, implementation and distribution of the Company’s external communications plan and Media liaison, working more than 5 years with institutional clients such as the National Tourism Organization of Serbia (NTOS). 
 
In 2003 he was selected as external expert evaluator for the  EACEA Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission.  
 
From 2007, he is Managing Partner of QP Quality Projects, consulting firm focused on European Project Management, evaluation and training services.
 
In 2013, he co-founded ACCESOPHIA an NGO which aims to promote social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and European values, fostering communication, education, and participation of local communities.
 
During the last 10 years he has become an expert in youth and social entrepreneurship projects mainly focus on the new era competencies for the labor market; EntreCom4All –  Open resources for entrepreneurship competences for all. 
 
From 2016 committed with Including Children Affected by Migration (ICAM) Programme designed to restore social emotional learning and increase learning capacity for all the Children Affected by Migration (CAM).
 
From July 2020 he is Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the European Antibullying Network, with special appointment to Project acquisition and management. Currently Project Manager of Antibullying SAFER  & BeCSR  ERASMUS+ projects.
 
From January 2021 he acts as Executive Director of  ITE Network , an Education Centres Network established in 2015, aiming to foster the internationalization of education and the participation of the schools in European projects.
 
He has participated as speaker in numerous international meetings and conferences such as Online Educa Berlin.  25 years participating in 101 European projects: 19 as coordinator; 78 as partner; 2 as trainer and 2 as external evaluator.  He is Spanish mother tongue and speaks English and Italian.

Purposes

  1. Represent its members in the defense of their pedagogical, business, economic, social, labor or any other interest, before public administrations and before the corresponding international institutions.
  2. Study and defend the general issues of its members, coordinate and advise their relationships and activities.
  3. Promote, develop and implement programs, plans and/or training courses that are of interest to its associates and workers in these sectors.
  4. Execute, schedule and coordinate training activities included in the vocational training for employment subsystem.
  5. Form groups of associated centers to request and execute training plans.
  6. Promote and carry out conferences, competitions, seminars and other educational, training and cultural activities and actions aimed at the improvement of youth and disadvantaged groups, in Spain and internationally.
  7. Capture, encourage, promote and develop the entrepreneurial and business spirit among young people and the creation of new companies, especially those that are born on new platforms and models (internet).
  8. Satisfy professional training needs for employment of all members of the association, and especially, those most socially disadvantaged groups with respect to employment, such as women, young people looking for their first job, people over 45 years of age, disabled people, and other people not described above.
  9. Request all types of subsidies, state or of any kind and scope that allow the benefit of associates or the general public.
  10. Work to eradicate poverty, unemployment and social exclusion, through international development cooperation projects, based on criteria of solidarity, equity, effectiveness, mutual interest and sustainability. Also promote the integration of the disabled into active life and the Prevention of Occupational Risks.
  11. Promote the responsible use of the environment, as well as issues related to health, equality and active citizenship, entrepreneurship and any other area related to the improvement of youth.
  12. Any others attributed by current legislation, or agreed by the General Assembly.
  13. Promote the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the 2030 agenda, based on criteria of solidarity, equity, effectiveness, mutual interest and sustainability.

Collaborate with programs that promote the values ​​of the European Union regarding gender equality, support for disadvantaged groups, people with disabilities and ethnic and religious minorities, both in the member countries of the European Union and in third countries, especially with LATAM.
  15. Promote digital transformation in the field of education at all levels.
  16. Promote and hold conferences, contests, seminars and other activities aimed at the dissemination of education, science and culture.
